Making music with minimal means.
The music that Tim Langedijk and Paul Berner make separately, with their own bands, radiates clarity and simplicity. Sometimes very complicated compositions that are made to sound easy and sometimes simple songs that resonate with a very deep feeling.
When Tim and Paul started this duo, their motivation was simply to play together; two fans of each other's music who happen to live a stone's throw from each other in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Just bike on over and play, no amplification, no effects and no pretensions, everything acoustic. But after going into the studio to record the results, it became clear that together they actually strengthen that simplicity, that clarity in each other.
A repertoire of well-known, lesser-known and unknown songs, presented minimally.
Music par excellence.

Tim played a Gibson J-45 built in 1954
On Black Hole Sun and Day After he played a Gibson Southern Jumbo from 1951
Paul played a Tyrollean contrabass built in ca. 1900, label: Matthias Albani, Bulsani, Thiroly
